How Our Referral Program Works

Getting rewarded for sharing your credit union is simple:

1. Download and complete a Member Referral Coupon.
2. Give the coupon to someone you know in Clark County, Cowlitz County, or anywhere in SW Washington.
3. They visit any PCCU branch to open their new account.
4. You both get $50 once they meet the new member requirements.

What Your Referral Receives

New Member Requirements

To qualify for the $50 Welcome Bonus, your referral must:

• Open a savings account with a minimum $5 deposit.
• Open a checking account with a minimum $100 deposit.
• Enroll in free e-statements (secure, convenient, and eco-friendly!).
• Keep their checking account open, active, and in good standing for 90 days**.

Who Can I Refer?

Anyone 18 or older who isn’t already a PCCU member or joint owner on an existing account.

How Many People Can I Refer?

There’s no limit to referrals, but bonuses are capped at $200 (four successful referrals) per member.*

What Counts as “Active” for the 90-Day Requirement?

Your referral needs to do just ONE of the following within 90 days:

• Set up direct deposit to their checking account.
• Sign up for Free Bill Pay and complete at least three transactions.
• Make 10 debit card purchases of $10 or more (ATM transactions don’t count).

*Existing People’s Community Federal Credit Union members receive $50 for each qualified referral, up to $200 total. New member must be primary account holder and cannot be a joint owner on any existing People’s Community Federal Credit Union accounts. Referring member cannot be joint owner on new member’s accounts.

**New member’s $50 Welcome Bonus is deposited immediately but held until all 90-day and activity requirements are met. Limit one Welcome Bonus per new member. Both parties must be 18+. Membership fee waived during promotion. People’s Community Federal Credit Union employees, volunteers, and their families are not eligible. People’s Community Federal Credit Union reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time. Referral bonuses are taxable and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT.
